Elite Primary Care LLC is a community-focused family practice in Clarksville, Tennessee. Role Description:
We are looking for an additional full-time Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. Let’s be honest: Primary Care is busy. Our days move quickly, we see a lot of patients, and every member of the team plays an important role in keeping things running well. We are looking for someone who enjoys that pace, genuinely likes taking care of people, and wants to be part of a small office where coworkers help each other. You will work closely with our physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and patients every day. If you take pride in doing your job well, enjoy getting to know your patients, and want to work with people who care about one another, we would like to meet you.
Daily Responsibilities:
Welcome patients and prepare them for their visit. Obtain and accurately document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and other clinical information. Assist providers with examinations and procedures. Perform injections, specimen collection, testing, and other appropriate clinical duties. Assist with patient follow-up, referrals, prescriptions, and testing as directed by the provider. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR.Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies. Help keep patient flow moving efficiently throughout a busy primary care day. Work collaboratively with the entire EPC team to provide excellent patient care.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Completion of a Medical Assistant program required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Medical Assistant certification is preferred, but not required. No prior MA experience required. We welcome both new graduates and experienced Medical Assistants. Genuine desire to take good care of patients and treat them with kindness and respect. Dependable, positive, and willing to help wherever needed in a small-office environment. Able to stay organized and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced practice. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working with an electronic health record system. Current BLS certification preferred. Job Details &
