Required qualifications:
- Active New York State RN licenseBLS and ACLS certifications
- At least 2 years of telemetry experience
- Med-Surg nursing experience
- Ventilator experience
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience for travel positionsEPIC experience strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational skillsBSN preferred; ADN may be accepted with relevant experience and/or active BSN enrollment
- Typical responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and provide safe, evidence-based nursing care.
- Assess patients and coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients and families and support discharge planning.
- Follow patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention standards.
