Technical Business Analyst

JOB DUTIES: Create daily / period / yearly digital business tools, reports, and analysis for KPI's against plan to determine risk and opportunityServe as point of contact for e-Commerce logistics to answer financial questions within the departmentDesign and monitor reports used to analyze logistics data and adjust based on trends and future looking opportunitiesManage, prepare, and coordinate reports used for executive monthly business review and Open to Buy detailing e-Commerce performanceDevelop and maintain digital analysis with insights, recommendations, and action points to senior leadership, including sales and costGenerate actionable insights for e-Commerce performance versus budget, target and forecasts and identify recent trendsPerform deep dive analytics for the digital shelf to ensure optimization across the catalogPartner with key stakeholders within the digital arena to deep dive and provide insights on performance of their areasMonitor and measure risks and benefits associated with various business strategies including email strategies, couponing, promotional impactsAssist and provide recommendations based on analysis and strategize with various business owners and management to continually maximize revenue growthDeliver daily ad hoc business analysisConstruct various tools and models to ensure accurate forecast processDesign, update and create new and existing templates for the variety of reports used to summarize period and quarterly results for financial and executive management teamsArticulate recommendation and strategies related to key stakeholders as well as executive managementMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationGENERAL SKILLSMinimum 3 years of experience in one of the following areas: eCommerce, merchandising, financial reporting, planning, forecastingProficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on MS ExcelProficient in SQL and/or PythonPrior experience working in retailExcellent attention to detailStrong communication skillsStrong organizational multi-tasking skillTop skillsPrevious Databricks and BI experienceProblem solverApache Spark SQLExperience with different types of analyticsBusiness Analyst background is a plusSupply chain, transportation, ecommerce experience is a plus
