Assembly Technician

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assembly, conversion, and repair of custom units and components per BOMs and engineering drawings. Operation of basic shop tools and equipment, including drill presses, saws, lathes, and testing equipment. Processing job material and conversion orders using warehouse management software. Inspection of materials and immediate reporting of BOM or product quality discrepancies to management. Maintenance of a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA requirements. Maintenance of logs, records, and departmental documentation. Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED is required. Certified Fluid Power (CFP) Mechanic Certification would be an asset.2–3 years of industry-related experience or 3–5 years of experience in a mechanical environment is preferred .Understanding of basic fluid power theory and ability to read engineering drawings is preferred. Basic PC literacy is required.
