About the role

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Carmel, INStep into an impactful opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students for the 2026-2027 academic year. We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work collaboratively in a dynamic school environment near Carmel, IN. This contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 2027. Enjoy a flexible, part-time schedule with 3-4 days per week, each consisting of 7-hour workdays. Youll join another SLP in sharing a caseload of approximately 70-75 students providing essential services while fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments. The focus is on supporting life skills and functional classrooms within a center-based model, aiding students across general and special education settings. Caseload structure may be adjusted based on the strengths and interests of incoming team members.
Key Qualifications: Active Indiana SLP license and ASHA CCC certification required School-based SLP experience preferred, especially in elementary and middle grades Strong collaborative and communication skills Adaptability to support students in life skills, functional, and inclusive classroom environments Commitment to innovative, student-centered intervention strategies
Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language services as part of a multidisciplinary team Develop and implement IEPs to address diverse communication needs Provide direct therapy and consultative services within center-based and general education classrooms Document progress and collaborate in ongoing caseload management with fellow SLP This assignment offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference alongside a supportive, collaborative community of educators and specialists.
