What You'll Do: Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings and work instructions. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly documentation. Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively. Inspect assemblies to ensure quality standards and specifications are met. Troubleshoot and correct assembly issues as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve processes and efficiency. Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
What We're Looking For: Mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment. Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Dependable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude. Must own tools- Tool Program available
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in industrial equipment, machinery, automotive, aerospace, or heavy manufacturing environments. Welding, fabrication, hydraulic, or pneumatic assembly experience is a plus. Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience. Forklift or overhead crane experience preferred.
