About the role

A Dental Lab Technician plays a vital role in the dental healthcare team by fabricating dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances. The technician works closely with dentists to ensure dental devices are custom-made to meet patients' specific needs and fit precisely. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and expertise in using specialized equipment and materials to create high-quality dental appliances. We are specifically looking for a Removable Quality Control Specialist who will be responsible for inspecting all in-house and outsourced removable appliances to ensure they meet company quality standards, prescription requirements, and customer expectations before delivery. This position verifies fit, finish, function, case accuracy, and overall workmanship while identifying and documenting defects, remakes, or process concerns. The role works closely with production, outsourcing partners, and leadership to maintain consistent quality and reduce remakesHigh school diploma, GED equivalency, or currently enrolledProficiency working with small parts, hand tools, and other small equipment preferredAbility to walk and carry parts, materials, etc. Manufacture dental restorations such as crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays, dentures, and/or implants using various materials (e.g., ceramic, metal, acrylic) according to dentist's specification/designAbility to understand prescription and manufacture dental appliances per Doctor's instructionsFollow detailed instructions and work from impressions, molds, and digital scans provided by dentists to create accurate dental prostheticsAdjust and repair dental prostheses as needed based on dentist specifications or patient feedbackOperate specialized lab equipment such as CAD/CAM systems, 3D printers, and casting machines for precision fabrication of dental appliancesEnsure the durability, functionality, and aesthetic appearance of dental devices through detailed inspection and testingProperly select and use various dental materials, including porcelain, metals, and resins, while adhering to safety and procedural standardsMaintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and case status for each patientAbility to produce products that meet or exceed quality requirements for area of assignmentAbility to understand and follow requirements of the quality systemUnderstand how one's performance can impact the success of the organization and product qualityAbility to use computer for scanning and to navigate through company intranetEmployment Type: Full TimeBonus/Commission: No
