Information Technology Support Specialist

Location: Remote located EST or CST hours, supporting employees in Boston, MA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM EST

Hours: 20 hours per week Contract: 3–6 months, with potential to convert to a full-time position Work Authorization: US Citizens or Green Card holders

About the Opportunity: We are partnering with a growing biotechnology and pharmaceutical organization focused on developing and manufacturing innovative products within the life sciences industry. They are looking for a Remote IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support to employees across the organization. This is a great opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys being the first point of contact for technical issues, troubleshooting across multiple devices and applications, and working in a fast-paced environment where security and reliability are critical.

What We're Looking For: 1-3 years of hands-on IT support or Help Desk experience. Experience supporting Windows and Mac environments. Experience supporting iOS and Android mobile devices. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Share Point Online. Familiarity with Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Experience troubleshooting laptops, mobile devices, printers, monitors, docking stations, webcams, Bluetooth devices, and other peripherals. Experience working with IT ticketing systems, escalation processes, permissions, and approvals. Strong communication and customer service skills. Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple support requests.

Nice to Have: Experience repairing or servicing laptops. Previous experience supporting organizations within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical equipment, nanotechnology, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. If interested, please apply here!
