Mercor is partnering with a biotech and pharma research team on expert human-evaluation work - creating and critiquing rubrics that analyze commercial drugs and drug-development programs. We're seeking an epidemiologist for a paid pilot, with the potential to continue as the work scales.
Responsibilities:
- Create and critique rubrics that analyze commercial drugs and drug-development programs
- Size the patient population for a given drug or indication (prevalence, incidence, diagnosed → treated → addressable)
- Judge whether a patient‑population estimate is sound and well‑sourced, and flag over- or under-counting
- Apply this across the pilot's set of drugs and indications
Requirements:
- US-based epidemiologist
- Familiarity with biotech/pharma development programs
- Experience turning real‑world data (claims, EHR, registries) into patient funnels 5+ years practising epidemiology (graduate degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, or public health)

Duration: Approximately 10-20 hours over a 1-2 week pilot
