Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Stepdown Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Requirement: Must have MS/SD experience. ICU experience preferred Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.

RN - Stepdown Location: Oklahoma Contract Length: Not specified Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities include patient care, documentation, assisting physicians, monitoring physiological data, administering medication, and interacting with patients and families regarding care plans and hospital procedures. Delegation of tasks to support staff and referrals to appropriate personnel are also part of the role.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
- Basic computer skills Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
