About the Role: We are hiring a Treasury and Regulatory Reporting Manager to build and run customer fund protection, regulatory capital and treasury operations from day one as an FCM. You will report directly to the CEO and be the firm's main point of contact with auditors and NFA examiners on segregation and capital. Who This Is For This is a hands-on role for someone who has prepared these numbers themselves and wants to own the full function at a growing firm. As Edge Clear moves through registration as a non-clearing FCM, you will build our financial and regulatory reporting from the ground up, working directly with senior leadership. What You Will Do: Customer Funds and Segregation Prepare and file daily Segregation and Secured Amount statements (CFTC Regulations 1.32 and 30.7)Calculate excess funds, residual interest and targeted residual interest; manage residual interest withdrawals under Regulation 1.23 Manage segregated and secured depository accounts, including acknowledgment letters and daily depository confirmations Prepare the twice-monthly Segregation Investment Detail Report Monitor early warning thresholds and prepare notices under Regulation 1.12 Capital and Regulatory Reporting Calculate adjusted net capital under Regulation 1.17 and NFA financial requirements Prepare the monthly Form 1-FR-FCM and maintain updated data on the firm's website Lead preparation for the annual certified audit and NFA financial examinations Cash, Banking and Clearing Reconcile our omnibus account at the clearing FCM to the customer ledger daily and resolve breaks Fund margin, move excess funds and process customer deposits and withdrawals under dual control Manage banking relationships, account structure and wire and ACH controls Controls and Systems Write and maintain treasury procedures within the firm's Risk Management Program (Regulation 1.11)Partner with our engineering team to automate segregation calculations, reconciliations and reporting What You Bring 4+ years in FCM treasury, regulatory reporting or regulatory finance Direct, hands-on preparation of daily segregation and secured amount statements Experience calculating net capital and preparing Form 1-FR-FCMExperience supporting an NFA or CFTC financial examination or a certified FCM audit Daily cash reconciliation and wire operations in a regulated environment Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with raw back-office and clearing data Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field Ability to work full-time on-site in Chicago Authorization to work in the United States
