Senior Technician Step into an exciting role with our dynamic Nutrition Services team at Corewell Health, where you'll make a meaningful impact every day! You'll take the lead in ensuring exceptional meal service, solving challenges with confidence, and keeping operations running smoothly. Essential Functions:
Develop, communicate, and uphold organizational procedures and policies, ensuring staff are properly trained and compliant with established standards. Oversees and delivers comprehensive training for all new hires in the Nutrition Services Department, ensuring proficiency in diet standards, food safety protocols, patient-focused service, and department workflows which include: Call Center, Trayline, Tray Delivery, Dish Room and Nourishments Will be trained and prepared to assist as department lead as needed, providing oversight and support to ensure smooth daily patient, team member, nursing, and visitor inquiries Reallocating team members during staffing shortages Professionally and appropriately addressing team members and handling high volume food service environment. Consistently communicates clearly and collaborates closely with staff, peers, and leadership to promote transparency, teamwork, and operational efficiency. Proactively shares information, supports problem-solving, and contributes to a culture of trust, respect, and continuous improvement. Qualifications:
