About the role
HOSPITALIST PLAINVIEW TEXAS Join Our Collaborative Hospitalist Team in West Texas - Open to 2026 Internal Medicine Residents Excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Internal Medicine Physician to become part of a respected, close-knit team of 2 physicians and 2 night APPs. We work side-by-side to deliver patient-focused care, partnering with colleagues across the hospital in a supportive, solutions-driven environment. Position Requirements:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine
- Internal Medicine training required; prior hospitalist experience preferred but not mandatorynew graduates encouraged to apply
- Current ACLS certification
- Authorization to work in the U.S.Schedule & Coverage
- Block schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
- Day shift: 7:00 am 7:00 pm, with call during your shift week (no return trips to the hospital required)
- Nights staffed by an APPWe oversee both Hospitalist and Emergency Medicine departments
Role Highlights:
- Deliver comprehensive inpatient and post-op care in our 49-bed facility
- Perform central line placement and intubations (mandatory)
- The ER team responds to codes; you will manage rapid responses for your patientsEPIC EMR system
