Nurse Supervisor – Correctional Facility

Southern Health Partners Inc seeks a Registered Nurse Medical Team Administrator to deliver compassionate care in correctional facilities. In this role, you’ll provide assessments, treatments, and medication management while coordinating care with physicians and mental health providers. You will oversee clinical workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, support chronic care programs, and respond to emergencies. Provide direct nursing care to incarcerated patients including assessments, treatments, and medication administration Triage sick calls and emergencies, coordinating timely physician or advanced practice provider intervention Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with state and facility regulations Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary medical team Perform intake health screenings and chronic care follow-up for patients with ongoing conditions Assist with minor procedures, laboratory collection, and diagnostic coordination Educate patients on health maintenance, medications, and discharge instructions Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and facility security protocols Supervise or support other clinical staff, contributing to training and onboarding as needed Participate in quality improvement initiatives and report clinical or safety concerns promptly Patient assessment Medication administration Acute and emergency nursing care Chronic disease management Electronic health records (EHR) Infection control Care coordination Clinical leadership and staff oversight Wound care Regulatory and documentation compliance Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Correctional Health Nursing certification preferred Ability to pass facility security clearance/background check
