About the role

Our client, a precision manufacturer serving aerospace, defense, and space programs, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain machining programs for complex, high-tolerance components. The role owns programming and process execution within an assigned manufacturing cell while supporting quality, productivity, and delivery goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and CNC lathes
Take ownership of CNC programming and process execution for assigned parts and equipment
Recommend tooling, fixtures, and process changes to improve cycle times and part quality
Collaborate with machinists, operators, engineering, and quality personnel
Support new product introduction and repeat production
Ensure programs meet drawing, specification, and GD&T requirements
Maintain setup documentation, work instructions, and program revisions
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures

Requirements:

At least five years of CNC programming experience with mills and/or lathes
Experience with multi-axis machining
Strong blueprint-reading and GD&T knowledge
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with Mastercam, NX, or comparable CAM software Compensation$30.00-$45.00 per hour, based on BambooHR posting metadata.
