About the role

Job Summary: We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Geriatric Psychiatrist with a preference for outpatient experience to join our growing behavioral health team. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in an ambulatory setting and is passionate about delivering specialized, longitudinal care to older adults.
What You'll Do: Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for geriatric patients, with a focus on conditions such as late-life depression, anxiety, cognitive disorders, and behavioral disturbances. You will maintain high standards of documentation, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered care. Collaborative Practice You will work closely with primary care physicians and specialists across Baptist Health's broad network to deliver integrated, whole-person care for our older adult population. You will also contribute to medical education alongside second-year psychiatry residents from the University of Florida. Compensation & Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits program that includes CME allowance, malpractice coverage, health and retirement benefits, and more. Training Residents and/or Fellows are accepted. Preference for geriatric trained psychiatrists, although not a hard and fast rule and everyone will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
