A thriving healthcare system seeks a Radiation Oncologist in Peoria, IL.
Position Overview: Radiation Oncologist
Location: Peoria, IL (1 hour from Champaign‐Urbana and 2 hours from Chicago)
Responsibilities: Provide radiation oncology care for 30–40 patients daily. Plan and deliver a range of treatments including SRS, SBRT, IMRT, and HDR Brachytherapy. Operate a Varian Edge radiosurgery linear accelerator, a Varian Truebeam linear accelerator, and a GE CT simulator. Utilize ARIA radiation oncology records and Eclipse, MIM planning systems. Participate in weekly disease‐specific tumor boards and clinical trials. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes dosimetrists, physicists, radiation therapists, RN navigators, oncology social workers, and a dietitian. Lead leadership opportunities with a 2‐call schedule. Benefits and Features
