Java Software Engineer

10+ years of hands-on experience with a JVM-based programming language (Java, Scala, Clojure, Kotlin, etc.) You will need to work with both of these platforms.10+ years of hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) & Design (OOD) concepts and methodologies. Experience in the Functional Programming paradigm is a plus.8+ years of hands-on experience with at least one major commercial Relational Database Management System (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)Demonstrated proficiency with one or more modern Java IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ, NetBeans, etc.)Deep understanding on the theory and workings of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) Expert knowledge of the SQL language, including query tuning and performance optimization
