Department: District Attorney Launch Your Legal Career in Public Service! Represent the State of Texas in criminal prosecutions. Work with law enforcement, victims, and witnesses. Draft legal motions, pleadings, and trial briefs. Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws. Prepare and present cases in court, including jury selection and witness examination. Assist in negotiating plea agreements and settlements.

What We’re Looking For: Juris Doctorate (JD) degree and licensed to practice law in Texas. 0-3 years of legal experience (criminal law experience preferred but not required). Strong legal writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of cases. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
