Part-Time Medical Social WorkerWe are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Medical Social Worker to join our skilled Social Work Team in Voorhees, NJ.Part-Time | Flexible Schedule Voorhees Pediatric Facility (VPF) is a nationally recognized pediatric specialty care center with 119 inpatient beds and the largest freestanding pediatric ventilator program in the country. VPF is Joint Commission–accredited at the highest level and provides care for medically fragile children across inpatient, rehabilitation, medical daycare, and educational programs through The Bancroft School at VPF. We deliver care through a collaborative, interdisciplinary team focused on the whole child. Mission: Advance the full life potential of medically fragile children through holistic care in a supportive environment. As a Medical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will include: Providing social work services to residents, families, and significant others to support coping with illness, disability, and extended care placement. Assisting residents in maximizing the benefits of health care and community resources and services. Coordinating care and services in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Supporting each resident in achieving and maintaining the highest level of physical, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial well-being. Providing services in accordance with individualized assessments and comprehensive plans of care.
