Occupational Therapist

Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to deliver patient‑centered rehabilitation in our inpatient setting. In this role, you will evaluate functional abilities, create individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence‑based interventions to enhance mobility, self‑care, and daily living skills. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and document progress while supporting a nurturing, high‑quality care environment with opportunities for professional growth. Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and limitations in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Develop and implement individualized, goal‑oriented occupational therapy treatment plans. Provide evidence‑based interventions to improve mobility, self‑care, and daily living skills. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and rehab team members to optimize outcomes. Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and adaptive strategies. Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely. Participate in care conferences and contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning. Support a nurturing, patient‑centric culture aligned with Encompass Health’s values.
