Associate

Role Description: The Associate role is a hybrid position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities may include supporting sales and customer service, assisting with merchandising and inventory organization, and helping maintain an appealing and well-organized product display. The Associate will collaborate with team members on order processing, packaging, and shipment coordination, and may assist with basic administrative tasks or social media support as needed. This role involves regular communication with customers and internal teams to ensure a smooth, positive experience aligned with Shashi NYC’s brand standards. Schedule and specific responsibilities may vary based on business needs and seasonality.

Qualifications: Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Organizational and time-management skills to handle inventory tasks, order processing, and daily operational activities. Attention to detail in product presentation, packaging, and documentation to maintain brand quality and accuracy. Comfort with basic technology tools (point-of-sale systems, email, spreadsheets), and willingness to learn new systems. Interest in fashion, accessories, or retail, with a collaborative mindset and willingness to support various functions. Ability to work on-site in the New York City Metropolitan Area and adapt to a hybrid schedule with some remote work. Prior retail, ecommerce, or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not required.
