About the Company: 360 CHICAGO is looking for its new Facilities Manager. The role is based in Chicago, IL. You will directly report to the Director of Operations of 360 Chicago. As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical infrastructure, operational systems, cleanliness standards and technology readiness of 360 CHICAGO, keeping the attraction safe, efficient, guest-ready and compliant. You will be the primary point of contact for facility-related issues across all operational areas, including public spaces, offices, event venues, retail, Cloud Bar, back-of-house areas, elevators, mechanical systems and technology infrastructure. As 360 CHICAGO expands its event operations, Cloud Bar and additional floor activations, this role becomes the operational backbone connecting facilities, technology, vendors, safety and daily building readiness. Responsibilities: Facility Maintenance & Work Order Management You will develop, implement and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program, and maintain and prioritize all facility work orders through a centralized tracking system. You will coordinate repairs, maintenance projects and vendor service visits, and perform routine inspections to identify areas that need repair or replacement. You will ensure the proper maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire and life safety systems; elevators and escalators; security systems; doors, locks and access control; and all guest-facing and back-of-house equipment. You will also track maintenance history, warranties, vendor contracts and service records. Cleaning & Facility Readiness You will develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cleaning schedules, and partner with our janitorial vendor to maintain world-class presentation standards. Through regular facility audits, you will monitor the condition of restrooms, guest spaces, offices, storage and event spaces, ensuring every public-facing space remains guest-ready at all times. Technology & IT Coordination You will serve as the operational liaison between 360 CHICAGO and our IT service providers. You will coordinate technology onboarding and offboarding for employees, including hardware requests and system permissions, and track company assets such as laptops, tablets, radios, printers and mobile devices, keeping inventory and replacement schedules up to date. You will troubleshoot basic operational technology issues, follow up on tickets and escalate when necessary, including domain management and network issues. You will also support new technology systems and platforms, such as kiosks, turnstile scanning, terminal configuration and Elo performance. Safety, Security & Compliance The safety of our guests and employees comes first. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, local building codes and company safety standards, maintain facility emergency response procedures and documentation, and coordinate inspections and testing of fire alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, AEDs and accessibility equipment. You will keep all required licenses and permits current, with no missed inspection or renewal deadlines, and complete all corrective actions within the required timeframes. Vendor & Contractor Management You will manage relationships with maintenance vendors, contractors and service providers, monitor their performance against service level expectations, coordinate after hours maintenance, and approve vendor access to ensure compliance with site requirements. Operational Administration & Leadership You will monitor expenditures and produce monthly reports on open work orders, preventive maintenance completion, vendor activity and facility inspection findings. You will develop SOPs and facility operating procedures, and support special projects, renovations and expansion initiatives. As part of the management team, you will foster a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement, partner with department leaders on operational needs, and take part in daily management and operational meetings. Success Measures Your success will be measured by a preventive maintenance completion rate of 95% or higher, work orders closed within established service levels, positive facility inspection scores, fewer recurring maintenance issues, technology onboarding completed before JOB DESCRIPTION employees' start dates, 100% vendor compliance, and guest and employee satisfaction with facility conditions.
Qualifications: Experience/ Criteria You have at least 5 years of experience in facilities management, operations management, building management or hospitality engineering.
Required Skills: Experience managing multiple vendors and contractors. Experience maintaining work order systems and preventive maintenance programs. Strong organizational and project management skills. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Ability to work flexible hours when operational needs require. Fluency in English is mandatory.
Preferred Skills: Hospitality, entertainment, attraction, museum, venue or commercial property experience is a plus. Experience with facility management software (CMMS) is a plus. Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life safety, is a plus. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus. Experience supporting technology onboarding and asset management is a plus.
