Job Description: Fiberglass Technician Build Quality Products That Make a Difference Newberry Tanks & Equipment is seeking an experienced Fiberglass Technician to join our manufacturing team in West Memphis, AR. This role is responsible for applying fiberglass materials and resin systems to tank products while ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and on-time production. What You'll Do: Fabricate and assemble fiberglass products using fiberglass fabric, resin materials, rollers, spray equipment, and specialized tools. Apply fiberglass coatings and materials according to production specifications and quality standards. Inspect completed work using quality control tools, gauges, and measurements. Operate forklifts to move materials and assist with loading completed tanks for shipment. Perform basic equipment inspections and routine maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures and participate in required training programs. Work closely with team members to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
What We're Looking For: Experience working with fiberglass fabric, resins, spray equipment, rollers, and related tools. Ability to read drawings, measurements, and production specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years of manufacturing, industrial, or commercial work experience. Previous fiberglass fabrication, composite manufacturing, marine, industrial coatings, or related experience. Forklift operating experience. English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus. High School Diploma or GED.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Ability to climb, stoop, bend, and work in an active manufacturing environment.
