Seeking a resourceful and persistent Locate Investigator, the full-time remote position will conduct desktop-based investigations to locate individuals and verify information for various legal matters, primarily supporting plaintiff and defense law firms.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive locate and skip-tracing investigations for individuals connected to legal matters
Search and analyze public records, proprietary databases, and social media to gather relevant information
Document investigative findings and provide timely updates to internal team members while handling sensitive information discreetly
Required qualifications:
Proven experience in investigative work, particularly in locating individuals
Strong ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources
Familiarity with legal and ethical requirements in investigations
Availability to work a schedule aligned with Central Time business hours
Excellent organizational skills for maintaining case notes and records
