Dental Hygienist - $5,000 Sign on Bonus

Key Responsibilities: Clinical CarePerform oral prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and sealant applications. Diagnostic SupportAssist the Dentist with X-rays, surveys, and mouth charting. Patient EducationTeach patients (and when appropriate, parents/caregivers) proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Recall & Follow-UpMaintain the hygiene recall system to ensure continuity of care. Quality & ComplianceParticipate in hygiene audits and support departmental planning. Team CollaborationAssist with scheduling, represent the department on committees, and contribute to workflow improvements. Perform additional duties as needed to support clinic operations. Required QualificationsDegree from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene Connecticut Dental Hygiene License CPR Certification Strong technical and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with disadvantaged and diverse populations Comfort communicating warmth, confidence, and empathy Interest in preventive dentistry and community-centered care Excellent computer skills; experience with GE Centricity/VisDental is highly desirable Willingness to provide evening, Saturday, and satellite clinic coverage as needed Previous dental experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply
