Network Tech Support Analyst - Intermediate Level Location: Paulsboro, NJ (Candidate must be located in Paulsboro, NJ and willing to travel to Clinton, NJ occasionally)Duration: 12+ months Contract Required Skills:Minimum of 3-5 years of Telecom Networking related experience with specialties in supporting one or more areas:Medium to large enterprise networking infrastructure/services. Core Networking Technologies - Routing, Switching, TCP/IP, Wireless LANTransport technologies - MPLS, Frame Relay, VSAT, Leased lines, campus cabling Network Security - Remote Access Technologies, IPSec Voice Service technologies: PBX, VMX, Call Center-IVR, Cisco IP Telephony, Microsoft LYNCData Centre Services - Application Accelerator, Load Balancer Routing Protocols - BGP, ISIS, EIGRP Vendor familiarization - Cisco, Juniper, F5 General Additional Skills:Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written Presentation and interpersonal skills Mature and able to work in a global virtual team environment Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision Multitasking Skills - (ability to manage assigned tasks while being flexible work other priority issues as they arise)Process oriented Good analytical skills Good team player Project management skills Computing Environment: Cisco/Juniper/HP routers and switches, W7, W2K, UNIX, LINUX subsets and proprietary solutions for specific systems and applications Job Summary:Develop and perform implementation activities for projects Perform Quality Assurance activities including identifying and submitting network design issues to Engineering Participate in Follow-the-Sun (FTS) on-call rotation Primary contact for vendor TAC in support of operational problems Develop and maintain Technical Support process and deliverables Develop and maintain process for hand-over of technology and service to Operations Develop and maintain Network Service Support Models Develop and maintain Operations Practices Develop and maintain workflow automation Other Responsibilities:Assist with development and maintenance of Network Service General Practices, Network technology, and service ISRMPsNetwork technology recommendations Network device OS recommendations Technology training program Network service strategy
