About the role

Job Role: Senior MRB Engineer Job Location- Wichita, KSJob Type – Fulltime
Seeking an experienced Senior MRB Engineer with strong, hands-on Commercial Airplanes MRB experience to support aircraft production and non-conformance resolution. Must have expertise in evaluating non-conforming materials, developing repair solutions, and preparing MRB packages, primarily for composite aircraft structures, in compliance with standards and safety requirements.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 10 years of Commercial Airplanes engineering experience.
  • Extensive, direct Commercial Airplanes MRB experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting aircraft production environments.
  • Proven experience independently developing and documenting MRB dispositions.
  • Proven experience authoring complete MRB packages for Senior MRB Authority review and approval.
  • Significant experience resolving production non-conformances affecting aircraft structure and assembly.
  • Strong background supporting composite aircraft structures and repairs.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred. Non-degreed candidates with extensive, directly applicable MRB experience will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all dispositions maintain aircraft safety and structural integrity.
  • Develop compliant repair solutions that support production objectives.
  • Produce complete, accurate, and approval-ready MRB packages.
  • Support production operations through timely engineering dispositions.
  • Serve as a technical resource to Manufacturing and Quality organizations.
  • Identify root causes and support implementation of corrective actions.
  • Balance technical requirements, schedule constraints, and production demands while maintaining compliance.
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation in accordance with requirements. Technical Knowledge
  • MRB processes and procedures.
  • Non-Conforming Material (NCM) dispositioning.
  • Aircraft structural repair methodology.
  • Composite materials and structures.
  • Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
  • Production support engineering.
  • Manufacturing support and shop-floor collaboration.
