Job Overview:
Fairview Health Services is seeking aPediatric Hospitalistphysician to join the Pediatric Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Team and provide clinical care at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. The Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Hospitalist Service provides 24/7/365 inpatient coverage in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team. Our hospitalists are fully integrated into a provider team that includes faculty physicians, pediatric hematology/oncology and BMT fellows, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
Hospitalists work a rotating schedule that includes day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and contributes to a dynamic, research-driven program caring for children and adolescents with life-threatening conditions.
Under the direction of the Pediatric BMT faculty, hospitalists will admit new patients with a variety of complex conditions and manage the care of existing patients experiencing transplant-related complications. Responsibilities include developing and managing treatment plans, evaluating and caring for acutely ill patients, coordinating closely with the broader BMT team, and maintaining clear, compassionate communication with patients and families.

Our team delivers care on our 24-bed pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant unit.
