Service Technician

Responsibilities: Service & Installation of refrigeration and cooking equipment. Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical systems. Perform troubleshooting and repair of self-contained and remote refrigeration systems. Perform troubleshooting and repair of natural gas and propane equipment. Start up and train customers on proper upkeep and use of equipment. Requirements &

Skills: Must currently possess an EPA certification. Demonstrate an understanding of electrical systems. Ability to interpret schematics and diagrams. Strong mechanical aptitude skills Use of basic hand tools normally expected in typical repairs. Must work well under pressure and maintain a safe work environment. Must demonstrate a cooperative behavior with co-workers, supervisors, and management in a team environment. Ability to read, analyze and interpret equipment schematics, drawings and manufacturers’ literature. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, supervisors and managers. Must be organized and possess good time management skills. Must be willing to obtain additional licenses and certifications. Physical &

Other Requirements: Required to work in all types of weather. Must have flexible schedule; early morning, evenings, & weekend on call rotation. English literacy required. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen. Current driver’s license and ability to meet and maintain driving qualifications. Must have transportation to and from work. Ability to climb stairs and ladders. Ability to lift objects up to fifty pounds. Requires standing, stooping, twisting, lifting, and other physical movements requiring full range of motion.
