Work Environment: This role is fully remote, offering flexible work hours from the comfort of your own home. Therapists will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while ensuring availability to clients during peak hours. As you will be engaging with clients via telehealth platforms, familiarity with online counseling tools and technologies is crucial for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct virtual therapy sessions using secure telehealth technology, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assess and diagnose clients' mental health conditions, developing personalized treatment plans to address their specific needs. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques that focus on client strengths and solutions, helping them achieve their goals. Provide ongoing support and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on client feedback and progress. Document therapy notes and treatment progress accurately, maintaining up-to-date electronic health records. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support and resources to clients in crisis. Patient Population / Client FocusOur clients range from adolescents to adults dealing with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. As a therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population, providing tailored support that considers cultural, social, and personal factors influencing their mental health. Your role will be instrumental in fostering resilience and facilitating healing through empathetic interactions.
Qualifications: A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required. An active license in California as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC is essential for this position. Experience in conducting therapy through virtual platforms, demonstrating proficiency in using technology to enhance client engagement. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly.
Preferred Experience: At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred, with a proven track record of successful client outcomes. Experience working with specific populations or conditions can be beneficial (e.g., adolescents, PTSD, substance use).
Compensation and Benefits: The compensation for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
