Help build the cleanrooms where life-saving medicines are made. AES Cleanroom Technology is a leading design-build company specializing in cleanroom environments for the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries. Our work helps our clients manufacture the therapies patients depend on. We're growing, and we're looking for a Buyer who wants to make a visible impact on complex, high-stakes construction projects. Based at our innovation facility and warehouse in Manheim, PA, you'll own the purchasing and material planning that keeps our projects on schedule — working directly with project managers, designers, and estimators, and with a real voice in how we buy. Relocation assistance is not provided, so candidates should live within commuting distance of Manheim. Benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, vacation, paid holidaysWHAT YOU'LL DOPlan material requirements and forecast demand based on project schedules and trends Create, issue, and manage purchase orders with approved suppliers, and track open POs through delivery Source products strategically and negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times to control costs and protect margin Maintain healthy inventory levels at our Manheim warehouse — minimizing stockouts and excess stock Coordinate delivery timelines with suppliers so materials arrive when our job sites need them Build strong vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance on cost, quality, and on-time delivery Partner with project managers, designers, and estimators to resolve supply issues and manage change orders Build demand plans and track KPIs in Excel; keep data accurate in our planning/ERP system Develop in-depth knowledge of your product categories and their supplier baseWHAT YOU'LL BRING3–5+ years of experience in purchasing, buying, procurement, demand planning, or material planning Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field — or equivalent work experience Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, building forecasts)Experience with MRP, inventory control, and purchase order management Solid negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skillsA detail-oriented, organized approach and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlinesNICE TO HAVEExperience in construction, manufacturing, or project-based purchasing Ability to read construction drawings, blueprints, or design documentsAPICS/ASCM (CPIM, CSCP) or ISM (CPSM) certification Don't meet every qualification?
