Opto/Mech Tech 2 - 2nd shift

Opto/Mechanical Technician As an Opto/Mechanical Technician at MKS, you will be responsible for the assembly of optical systems. You Will Make an Impact By: Audit 1-2 work order kits from warehouse to confirm pieces and part numbers Prepare subassembly components Follow written procedures or drawings Assemble and debug systems incorporating optical, mechanical, and electronic components Test each level of assembly (4-5 processes) at the system level using laboratory instruments Alignment, optimization, stability, transmission, etc. Package the final assembly daily (if assembly is completed)Cross training is required (trainee and/or trainer)Skills You Bring:0-2 years of related experience for Level 12-3 years of related experience for Level 2 The ability to work in a clean room environment Experience entering data numbers into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets templates The ability to speak, read, and write in English
