Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate student mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that address specific challenges and goals. Implement evidence-based interventions, utilizing solution-oriented therapy models tailored to students’ unique situations, including those affected by trauma, anxiety, or depression. Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with ethical guidelines and regulations, ensuring confidentiality and respect for all client information. Collaborate effectively with school staff, parents, and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive support, facilitate resources, and promote positive student outcomes. Educate students and their families on mental health issues, resources, and coping strategies, fostering a supportive community within the school environment. Stay informed on advancements in mental health research and practices, integrating new knowledge into your therapeutic approach to enhance care delivery. Patient Population / Client FocusAs an LCSW at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will work primarily with students facing various mental health challenges, including trauma-related issues, anxiety disorders, and depression. Your role will focus on creating a safe, trusting environment for these individuals to express themselves and seek support, with the ultimate goal of improving their mental wellness and academic performance.

Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required. A valid LCSW license in the state of Illinois. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably working with youth or in school settings. Proficiency in various psychotherapy interventions, particularly solution-focused and trauma-informed therapies. Strong communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adaptability to meet diverse student needs. The ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to create a cohesive treatment approach.

Preferred Experience: Experience working within educational settings or with school-aged children is highly desirable. Familiarity with special education services or knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) is a plus. Engagement in continuous professional development and training related to mental health practices.
