Engineering Business Analyst III:On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for an Engineering Business Analyst III for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client's Houston, Texas office.
Job Description:
This role supports the Regulated Operations business unit by analyzing and projecting financial impacts related to management decisions and changes in the business environment. The position involves data aggregation using SAP and financial records to assist in capital planning activities and creating financial records to support Engineering functions and rate case requests.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and interpret financial information to create actionable business intelligence.
- Use SAP and financial models to support capital planning and reporting.
- Develop financial models for resource allocation and regulatory testimony support.
- Support planning and rate case filings through financial analysis.
- Prepare financial analysis projects for review, such as risk analysis and budget evaluations.
- Assist in developing and monitoring capital budgets.
- Liaise with Finance to ensure knowledge transfer and support system changes.
- Maintain data integrity and financial tools or systems.
- Compile and analyze cost data and prepare billing for reimbursable projects.
- Lead monthly budget review meetings with regional management.
- Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting, finance, engineering, or operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team environment.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office products.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Experience in utility comparisons and regulatory testimony support.
- Knowledge of capital planning impacts.
- Experience in Advanced Finance initiatives.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Houston, Texas, United States. Hybrid with 4 days in the office.
