Master Level Diesel Technician

Ryder is hiring a Master Level Diesel Technician in Hammond, Louisiana. Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair heavy-duty vehicles, and use shop computers and diagnostic equipment. The role includes road testing vehicles and mentoring others. A CDL must be obtained within six months of hire. Perform routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes, brake work, and tire work. Diagnose and repair air conditioning and electrical systems. Perform advanced repairs, including major engine, diesel aftertreatment, and fuel injection repairs. Use shop computers and diagnostic test equipment to support maintenance and repairs. Road-test vehicles as necessary. Coach, mentor, and influence other technicians.
