Screw Machine Operator (2nd Shift) Individual will operator Acme and Davenport screw machines. This team takes pride in producing quality products, while continuing to educate individuals to expand their knowledge for continuous growth opportunities within the Day In The Life Responsible for operation of screw machines; including, loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from machine. Responsible for performing minor tooling adjustments, tool changes, and tool sharpening. Responsible for conformance with quality to assist in training others on operation and setup of screw machines. What will help you thrive in this role? Mechanically inclined – Individual needs to be good with tools and machinery and can adapt quickly to fixings things both familiar and unfamiliar. Perform standard math – Individual needs to able to perform standard math to effectively make machine adjustments. Reasoning ability – Ability to think, reflect, and make decision to overcome obstacles.
