Construction Inspector What does this job entail? The Construction Inspector ensures construction projects adhere to contract plans and specifications, quantity calculations and pay quantity submittals. The Construction Inspector will be a champion and leader of our company core values, while maintaining internal and external customer engagement and satisfaction. Full-Time, Part-Time, and per project positions available in Lafayette, LA or Lake Charles, LA. Some responsibilities include: Working on complex, large job sites during all critical phases of construction Preparing and maintaining project reports, quantity tabulations, weather and workday form reports Assisting in preparing payments to contractor Maintaining a supportive and cooperative relationship with the contractor Possessing a basic knowledge and familiarity with dealing with the public, clients, survey crew, and testing laboratories Am I qualified for this position? High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Must be authorized to work in the United States Preferred: Five (5) years of directly related industry experience Preferred: DOTD certifications in Embankment & Base Course, Asphalt Concrete Paving, and PCC Paving
