Dietary Aide

Dietary Aide Anam Memory Care | Rockford, Illinois Anam Care and Anam Glen, a dedicated assisted living and dementia care community in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our growing team. The Dietary Aide plays an important role in providing nutritious, appealing meals while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for our residents. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparing and cooking meals according to established menus and recipes Serve meals and beverages to residents in a timely, courteous, and respectful manner Assist with meal setup and ensure dining areas are properly prepared before meals Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining areas, equipment, and workspaces Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen items Properly store food and supplies and assist with inventory as needed Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations Work cooperatively with dietary and care staff to meet the needs of our residents Provide friendly and compassionate service to residents during meal times Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous food service experience preferred; 1+ year of experience is a plus Food Sanitation Certificate required Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to cleanliness and organization Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and dependable Compassionate and respectful approach when working with older adults Willingness and desire to learn new skills and procedures Ability to follow instructions and established food safety practices Why Join Anam Memory Care?
