Information Technology Support Specialist

The it Staff member is responsible for maintaining the organization’s computer system, networks, and hardware. This role ensuressmooth daily operations by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and assisting employees with technology-related needs. KEY RESPONSABILITIESInstalling and configuring computerhardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners, mobile phones, among other IT devices Monitoring and maintaining computersystems and networks, including backups, and other IT devices such as security cameras, alarms, access control, UPS, etc. Responding in a timely manner to service issuesand requests Providing technical supportand training acrossthe company (including MPA) Setting up accountsfor new users. Create user guides and manualsand provide trainingto staff on new systems. Purchasing efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary. Keeping abreast of technology trendsand development, and testing new technology Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to implement and maintain security controls Planning and overseeing projectsby coordinating with developers to build and implement technology solutions (e.g., Net at Work, ScanForce, SPS, ASCI, AI) Communicating with all departments to understand theirrequirements Revising existing systems and suggesting improvements Designing efficient IT systems to meet businessand technology needs Support cybersecurity efforts, including antivirus and data protection measures. Inventory Management for IT related devices. OTHER RESPONSABILITIESOther IT relatedprojects and/or tasks as Management requests within reason. Assist in deploying and maintaining AI-based applications or integrations. Analize system data using AI tools to identifytrends, issues and optimization opportunities. Respond request and inquires from our headquarters, Makita JapanREQUIERMENT AND SKILLSFluent in Englishand Spanish Work experience as IT coordinator or similar role over 2+ years Experience in projectmanagement Familiarity with data analysis, APIs and Systemintegrations., AI tools Excellent organizational and coordination abilities A team playerwith excellent communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid knowledge of IT systemsand applications PunctualityWebsite DevelopmentQUALIFICATIONSBSc/BA in Information Technology or Computer Scienceis preferred, (or equivalent experience)2 years+ experience in IT support, systems administration, or similar role. Proficiency in computer hardware, software, networking and troubleshooting. Familiarity with AI tools, machinelearning basics, or automation platforms. Experience with hardwareinstallation and maintenance(Understanding of TCP/IPprotocols and LAN/WANconfiguration)(Certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ etc.) is a plus)
