Job Description Job Description SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALISTSenior Human Resources GeneralistLocation: Salisbury, MDSalary Range: $70,000 –$95,000 annuallySchedule: Four‐day, 36-hour work week — Monday through ThursdayPosition SummaryThe Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, leave management, HR compliance, employee records management, and HRIS administration. This position serves as a resource to employees and leaders regarding HR processes and ensures HR programs are administered efficiently and in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 5-8 years of human resources experienceExperience with recruitment, benefits administration, and leave management requiredExperience working with an HRIS/HRMS system requiredStrong organizational, communication, and computer skillsSHRM-CP or PHR certification preferredEssential DutiesManage full-cycle recruitment activities, including postings, screening, interview coordination, background checks, reference checks, and onboardingMaintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State RegulationsManage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and related offeringsProvide employee education regarding available benefits and enrollment processesDevelop and implement employee engagement initiatives designed to improve morale, retention, and workplace cultureDevelop recognition programs that celebrate employee achievements and milestonesCreate and publish a quarterly employee newsletter highlighting organizational updates, employee accomplishments, safety initiatives, and departmental successesDevelop communication campaigns that strengthen employee engagement and awareness of organizational goalsDevelop innovative gamification strategies to increase employee participation, teamwork, wellness, safety, and workplace positivityCoordinate new hire orientation and employee onboarding processesManage employee leave processes, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and workers' compensation administrationMaintain accurate employee records and HR documentationProcess employee status changes, separations, and related personnel actionsAssist with audits, credentialing, and compliance activitiesProvide general HR support to employees and leadershipPerform other duties as assignedReporting RelationshipReports to the VP of Human Resources who provides supervision and schedule.ClassificationRegular Full-Time, Exempt
