Network Administrator

Position Overview: We are seeking a Network Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, identity management, and security operations. This is an early-career opportunity for someone with approximately 2–4 years of hands-on IT experience who has developed a strong foundation across Microsoft infrastructure, Active Directory, cloud platforms, endpoint management, networking, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate does not need to be a senior-level network engineer or networking architect. We are looking for someone technically versatile who can support infrastructure environments, troubleshoot technical issues, administer enterprise systems, and assist with network and security-related initiatives.

Responsibilities: Support and troubleshoot enterprise IT infrastructure, network connectivity, endpoints, and user-access issues. Assist with administration of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.Manage users, groups, permissions, role-based access, and identity-related configurations. Support Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, Teams, Share Point, and licensing. Assist with Windows endpoint administration, provisioning, patching, and device management. Troubleshoot network, system, authentication, and connectivity issues. Support security monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and incident-response activities. Review infrastructure and security alerts and coordinate remediation with internal technical teams. Assist with cloud infrastructure and services within Azure and/or AWS.Support implementation and maintenance of security controls, access controls, and infrastructure standards. Document technical procedures, configurations, incidents, and troubleshooting steps. Work with internal IT teams, vendors, and security partners to resolve infrastructure and security issues.

Desired Qualifications: Approximately 2–4 years of professional IT, infrastructure, systems administration, network support, or cybersecurity experience. Hands-on experience with Active Directory. Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments. Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts including: TCP/IPDNSDHCPLAN/WANVPNsFirewalls Network troubleshooting Experience administering or supporting Windows endpoints and enterprise IT environments. Exposure to Azure and/or AWS.Familiarity with identity and access management, endpoint security, vulnerability management, or security operations. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across systems, networking, identity, and endpoints. Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field. CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA, or similar certification. Experience with tools such as Intune, SCCM, Microsoft Defender, Sophos, or comparable endpoint/security platforms. Power Shell or other scripting/automation experience. Experience in a hybrid Active Directory / cloud environment. Previous experience working in a regulated, government, defense, or security-conscious environment.
