Skills: Aseptic Technique, Locate and record external elements of the eye, Locate and record internal elements of the eye, Measure and record visual acuity and color vision testing, Pharmacy calls for refills, Adult Outpatient Clinic, Amblyopia, Applanation Tonometry, Arrange transportation for patients, Assist Ophthalmologist during examinations and surgeries, Assist with intravitreal injections (IVTA), Basic Eye Exam, Basic Surgical Procedures, Biohazard waste disposal, Chart Preparation, Checking Extra-Ocular Muscles, Checking Vision Near and Distance, Clean and sterilize and maintain surgical instruments/ equipment, Clinical optics, Confrontational fields, Confusion, Conjunctival and corneal cultures, Corneal Topography, Dizziness, Double vision, Dry eye, trauma and foreign object work-up, Explain discharge instructions, Eye discharge, Filing, Floaters, Follow up phone calls, Headaches, HVF, Identify anomalies of disease or injury of the eye, Identify equipment malfunction, Inform physician of preliminary findings, Label Medications, Labeling of specimens, Light sensitivity, Nausea/vomiting, Numbness, Obtain and record medical history, Obtain visual acuity uncorrected and corrected, Pain or irritation, Patient education, Patient teaching regarding ocular medications, Patient teaching: dressings, Perform intraocular pressure measurements, Place dilating drops in eyes as ordered, Plus Cylinder, Prepare patient for exam and surgeries, Preparing injections, Record History/Medications/Allergies, Refraction in Plus Cylinder, Scheduling appointments, Stocking/Ordering Supplies, Universal precautions, Vision changes, Visual Fields, Middle Adult, Older Adult, Young Adult
