About the role

Supporting the FDIC Corporate University Course Maintenance Program, the full-time remote Instructional Systems Designer will collaborate with FDIC personnel and SMEs to maintain and modernize a comprehensive catalog of professional courses and training materials across various instructional formats.
Key responsibilities: Collaborating with FDIC CU personnel, project managers, and SMEs to design, update, and maintain courseware Updating and revising instructional materials across multiple modalities, including design plans, instructor guides, and virtual classroom setups Developing asynchronous Web-Based Training (WBT) and ensuring all deliverables comply with CU technical guidelines and accessibility standards
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field Minimum of five years of professional instructional design experience DHS Trusted Tester trained or certified (preferred or able to meet program testing requirements) Proven experience in technical writing, course material conversion, and multimedia technology integration Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and high proficiency in Excel
