To support server systems and infrastructure, the full-time Lead IBM i Engineer will plan, design, implement, and provide advanced operational support for Windows, Linux, and IBMi environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilitiesServe as an escalation point for advanced troubleshooting and support of server environments
Conduct triage and resolution of server issues and outages while communicating with stakeholders
Design and implement complex solutions while guiding junior engineers and supporting strategic roadmapsRequired qualificationsFive or more years of experience in server systems or related fields
Strong understanding of operating systems, hardware, and infrastructure design
Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and cross-team collaboration
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred
Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticket resolution
