Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum one year of recent experience as an Operating Room RNCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification requiredACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic technique, and instrumentation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to assist a multidisciplinary clinical team
- Adaptability in a fast-paced surgical environment
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room and ensure it is sterile and well-organized before procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient care
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, maintaining vigilance for any complications
- Assist during surgical operations, providing instruments and supplies as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and procedures
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and patient safety standards
- Provide post-operative care and clear communication to recovery room staff
