Metrology Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate or ability to learn to operate various CMMs and software including but not limited to LK/Camio, Hexagon/PC-DMIS, Renishaw/Modus. Handle manufactured components and fixturing weighing up to 50lbs with assistance from specialized lifting equipment. Perform daily calibration of CMMs. Perform departmental housekeeping including but not limited to organizing and cleaning of workspace, computer records, and laboratory. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements: Experience in quality control techniques and measuring equipment in a machining environment. GD&T knowledge. Ability to read and interpret customer drawings. Must be proficient with inspection tools, measuring techniques and equipment, including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, bore gages, etc. Have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment. Certificate in mechanical/dimensional metrology or other comparable certification in metrology techniques is a plus but not required. Moeller Aerospace is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
