Experienced Registered Nurse Opportunity An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in Stepdown care. This contract assignment is designed for a skilled RN who excels in fast-paced environments and is committed to high-quality patient care during critical transition periods.
Key Qualifications:
  • Current, valid RN license
  • At least one year of recent Stepdown nursing experience
  • Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
  • Proficient documentation and communication abilitiesBLS and ACLS certifications required
Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care and close monitoring for patients transferring between intensive and standard medical-surgical units
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications, manage IVs, and execute physician orders accurately
  • Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-hospital care
  • Document all patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes according to facility protocols
  • Ensure strict adherence to patient safety and infection control practices
