Electrical Engineer A leading multidisciplinary A/E design firm is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join its growing team in Durham, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on design, collaboration with architects and other disciplines, and working on a diverse range of projects.
Responsibilities:
Perform electrical design from concept through construction administration.
Design power distribution, lighting and controls, fire alarm, and low-voltage/IT systems. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals.
Develop innovative and energy-efficient design solutions.
Assist with project coordination and mentor less-experienced staff. Support project teams throughout the design and construction process.
Qualifications:
5+ years of electrical engineering/design experience. PE license preferred, but not required.
Experience with power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems. Revit experience strongly preferred.
Experience with commercial, healthcare, education, civic, industrial, high-tech, or mission-critical/data center projects is a plus.
