Receiver/Shipper - Forklift Operator

Job Description: GENERAL DESCRIPTION:All shipping and receiving personnel report directly to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor. S&R Team members will be required to be a licensed forklift operator and perform duties necessary to ship finished goods & subcontract orders and receiving incoming raw material support Powerbrace Operations. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) certificate. Must have a valid fork truck license. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:·Must be able to obtain / maintain certification to operate a forklift truck.·Assemble, pack and process sub-contract and customer orders as necessary·Must learn and follow approved processes and guidelines pertinent to assigned tasks, duties and safety protocol.·Must be able to use and understand Epicor and possess basic computer skills.·Must be able to learn and accurately perform “Open Box Verification”, understand the use of scales for weight and count verification·Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. throughout the work day.·Must be able to read and write and complete basic math functions·Accurately measure, count, and document results as necessary·Adhere to all elements of quality management system·Other miscellaneous activities as required \nCompany
